Grocery, kiryana & general store POS

Grocery store POS with khata built in.

Daal by the kilo, soap by the carton and khata for the families down the street. RestroOne bills it all quickly, keeps every customer's balance straight and tells you what to reorder before the shelf runs empty.

What a grocery counter really needs

Khata for regulars

Sell on credit with a balance and a credit limit for each customer, and record payments as they come in.

Sell by weight

Loose rice, daal and sugar on a kg/g keypad, or by scanning your scale's labels.

Barcode billing

Scan packaged goods; cartons and single pieces each have their own barcode and price.

Price check

Answer "how much is this?" with one scan, without starting a bill.

Expiry dates

Track batches and expiry so old stock sells first and nothing expires on the shelf unnoticed.

Supplier orders and dues

Send orders on WhatsApp, receive deliveries against them and see what you owe each supplier.

Loyalty points

Reward regular customers with points on every bill, found by their phone number.

Works offline

Keep billing through load-shedding and internet cuts; everything syncs when you're back.

Owner app

Sales, stock running low and customer dues on your phone.

Khata, without the register

Most kiryana stores run on trust and a notebook. RestroOne keeps that trust but drops the notebook: every credit sale goes on the customer's balance, credit limits stop a balance getting out of hand, and the owner app shows who owes what today. Customers are found by phone number, however it's written.

Reorder before the shelf is empty

Set a minimum and maximum for each item and RestroOne suggests what to order, then drafts the purchase order in one press. Send it to the supplier on WhatsApp, receive the delivery against it, and the supplier's balance updates on its own.

  • Running-low alerts on the owner's phone
  • Supplier dues for the week in one list
  • Stock counts while the counter keeps selling

Questions

Common questions.

Ask on WhatsApp
Is RestroOne suitable for a small kiryana store?

Yes. Start with billing, khata and stock on one counter computer, and add barcode scanning, weighed items or expiry tracking when you need them.

Can customers buy on credit?

Yes. Credit sales go on the customer's khata with an optional credit limit, and payments are recorded against the balance.

Does it work during load-shedding?

The till app keeps billing without internet. When the connection comes back, every bill syncs in order.

What hardware do I need?

A Windows PC or Mac, an ordinary thermal receipt printer, and a barcode scanner if you sell packaged goods. A weighing scale with label printing is optional.
